Briestfield History & Community Group are presenting a talk about the village of Briestfield and surrounding area. Also talking about Dewsbury Sacrifices and the local soldiers from the local villages who made the final sacrifice. This event is at Whitley Community Centre. Light refeshments. Admission £2.

St George's Day Parade
Sunday 22nd April: 11:30am
The popular parade, led by St George on horseback, will leave Morley Town Hall at 11:30am to arrive at the Rugby ground at 11:45am where the Swearing of the Oaths and National Anthem will take place. The focal point of the parade will be St George on horseback. On the cricket field there will be stalls, fun fair rides, refreshments and more. On the Rugby field there will be fun fair rides, and hot food.
St George Day Service
Thursday 26th April: 7:30pm
The Morley St George Day Service is at Leeds Minster (formerly Leeds Parish Church). At 6.45pm The Minster Bells are rung with The Service starting at 7:30pm. This year Participants include Drighlington Brass Band, Victoria Primary School, Morley Operatic Society Saturday Kids Club, Gildersome Primary School Bell ringers, Morley academy, Andrea Jenkyns MP, John Scholey and Churwell Community Choir.
Discovering God's Call in my Life

Leeds Citywide Prayer Lunch

The next Leeds Citywide Prayer Lunch will focus on praying for a number of different aspects of Leeds including the Local Council Elections. This prayer lunch is open to any Christian who wishes to attend. It's at St George's Church.A buffet lunch will be provided (any financial donations are welcome).

Global Day of Prayer

Around the world the Global Day of Prayer will be taking place in a number of cities on Pentecost including in Leeds. This years event will be linked with the World Prayer Centres Time to Turn Initiative praying that our City, Nation and World will turn back to God. Hope For The Nations will again be involved in organising this event. It is at Bridge Community Church, Rider Street in Leeds, LS9 7BQ.
Grace & Faith 2018

Each year Grace & Faith gets better and better - with live teaching from Andrew Wommack and guest speaker Duane Sheriff, you'll be taken to a deeper understanding of God's heart for you as you hear the word of God - raw and uncut - taught by powerful teachers. With a strong focus on the Word of God, we'll take the truths that God teaches us from the Word and learn to practically walk them out in our everyday lives. Every year we hear testimonies of people being healed, delivered and set free! Jesus is alive, and He's at work in the body of Christ today. Grace & Faith 2018 is free but you need to register.
